Phew! What a big and exciting weekend for our Ladycat basketball teams. The Ladycat Varsity team participated in the McDonald’s Texas Invitational. They went 3-0 in pool play taking down 6A #7 Judson the first game of the tournament. The Ladycats then moved into the top four in the Division 1 Gold Bracket battling it out against 6A #1 Pearland Dawson and 6A #5 Summer Creek. The Ladycats competed in both games of bracket play taking each game down the stretch in the fourth quarter, but ultimately coming out in fourth place. We are so proud of the way our players competed on the court but also their sportsmanship and camaraderie the entire weekend!
The JV and Freshman teams competed in the Weatherford Tournament this weekend. The JV went 3-1 and finished in 3rd place and the Freshman went 4-0 and finished in 1st place!
All three teams travel to Abilene on Tuesday, November 25 to play against Abilene Wylie before taking a much deserved Thanksgiving Break!
