Another GREAT day for Aledo Cross Country!
The Ladycats & Bearcats had an outstanding showing at the Kennedale Invitational today! Three of our four teams brought home 1st place finishes, with the Varsity Girls, Varsity Boys, and JV Girls all winning their divisions, while the JV Boys finished an impressive 2nd overall.
We also had FOUR individual champions! Holland Gladchuk won the Varsity Girls race, Tyler Connelly won the Varsity Boys race, Gianna Kenneally took 1st for the JV Girls, and Andrew Walsh won the JV Boys race.
There were impressive performances throughout the entire program. The Varsity Girls placed five runners in the top seven, the Varsity Boys put all seven runners in the top nine, and the JV Girls claimed three of the top four spots, including a 1-2-3 sweep!

It was a great day to be a Ladycat & Bearcat! Across all four races, Aledo came away with three team championships, a team runner-up finish, and four individual champions. Our runners competed hard from top to bottom, and we are extremely proud of the way they represented Aledo!
We are off from competition next week before heading to Midlothian for the James Smith Invitational on Aug. 27.
