Aledo XC Makes a Statement at the Coach T Invitational!
The Ladycats & Bearcats took on some of their toughest competition of the season at the Marcus Coach T Invitational in Denton, and we could not be more proud of how they competed! The Elite Varsity Boys finished 3rd out of 48 teams, while the Elite Varsity Girls placed 4th out of 38 teams in two extremely competitive fields.
Aledo also had two top-ten individual finishers, with Tyler Connelly racing to 4th place in 14:35 and Holland Gladchuk finishing 10th in 18:06. Both Elite Varsity teams showed they can compete with some of the best, and we are incredibly proud of the effort, toughness, and competitiveness our athletes showed throughout the day!

This was a big step up in competition, and our runners rose to the occasion. We are extremely proud of the way the entire group competed and represented Aledo. Coming away with two Elite Varsity top-five team finishes and two individual top-ten finishes in fields this large is something to be proud of, and we are excited to keep building from here!
Aledo Cross Country will split up next week, with the JV teams competing at the Haltom Buffalo Stampede on Thursday, Sept. 10, followed by the Varsity teams traveling to College Station for the Texas A&M Invitational on Friday, Sept. 11.
We are incredibly proud of the way this group continues to compete, and we’re excited to carry that momentum into another big week of racing!
