The JV Orange beat Azle 41-6. The defense held a good Azle team to 6 points on the night by continually stuffing the RB and QB at the line of scrimmage. Defensive leaders for the night at the Linebacker position were Zach Reinert who had 8 tackles, Grayson Porche had 6 tackles (2 for a loss) Jake McLendon had 3 tackles and a broken up pass attempt, Ryan Anderson had 4 tackles and a broken up pass attempt, Parker Wilson had 5 tackles at the line of scrimmage and a QB sack.

On offense, Tre Owens at QB was 7-9-161 and 2 TD’s passing. Tre also rushed for 1 TD while gaining 113 yards on the ground on 11 carries. Regan Rice, (behind the blocking of Logan Escamilla, Chandler Knandel, and Cameron Callaway) had 86 yards on the ground and 3 TD’s. Jay Miller had a big night receiving for the Bearcats, Jay had 2 catches for 100 yards and 1 TD on a 49 yard reverse. Jake Ford also had 2 receptions for 61 yards and a 1 TD.

Next week the JV Orange will play Eaton, Thursday the 13th, 7:00 at Bearcat Stadium.
