The Aledo High School Swimcats participated in the 4th Annual Yellow Jacket Sprint Invitational on Saturday, October 7th. The girls’ team placed second with 277 points.

The Lady Swimcats placed first in the 100 Yard Medley Relay with a time of 1:00.54 and the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay with a time of 2:00.60. The relay teams consisted of Charlotte Lane, Alyssa Oestreich, Hannah Farmer and Hana Terrell.

Hannah Farmer earned first place finishes in both the 50 Yard Butterfly with a time of 26.40 and the 50 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 32.59. Hanah Terrell placed first in the 50 Yard Freestyle with a time of 28.28, and she placed third in the 50 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 38.79. Charlotte Lane finished in second place in the 50 Yard Backstroke with a time of 34.30 and placed fourth in the 50 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 39.62. Ashlyn Vozeh was third in the 50 Yard Freestyle with a time of 30.75 and placed third in the 50 Yard Backstroke with a time of 38.14. Alyssa Oestreich placed 8th in the 100 Yard Freestyle with a time of 1:20.84 and was tenth in the 50 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 47.02.

Elijah Sohn and Conner Allen also competed at the Yellow Jacket Sprint Invitational. They earned 53 points as a team. Elijah earned a second place finish in the 100 Yard Freestyle with a time of 53.26 and placed third in the 100 Yard IM with a time of 1:06.49. Conner was third in the 25 Yard Freestyle with a time of 14.33 and eleventh in the 50 Yard Freestyle with a time of 32.74.
