The Orange JV Defense shut out Chisholm Trail 55-0. Defensive leaders for the night at the linebacker position were Dylan Boutwell who had 7 tackles, Cody Stone had one QB sack and 5 tackles, Parker Wilson had 4 tackles, Jake McLendon had 4 tackles, Logan Lopez with 3 pass attempts broken up, and Zach Reinert had a pick 6 to go along with 7 tackles. Continually in the backfield making tackles for a loss, the defense held Chisholm Trail to one first down and dominated the contest for four quarters.

On offense, Tre Owens was 9-10-200 yards and 5 passing TD’s. Regan Rice led all rushers with 70 yards and a TD. The receiving corps had a big night as Tripp Jones had 3 catches for 86 yards and a TD, Jay Miller had 2 catches for 42 yards and 2 TD’s, Jake Ford 2 catches for 32 yards and a TD, and Mylen Hayhurst had a 35 yard TD reception to finish the scoring on the night.

Next week the JV Orange will play Saginaw at Saginaw HS, 7:30 start time.
